 It’s clear that NO ONE is exempt from the rumor mill!

Allegedly, rapper Nelly broke up with R&B singer and girlfriend of 9 years, Ashanti, due to her allegedly cheating with a producer!

This is a couple that’s had their fair share of ups and downs since getting together in 2003. However, their relationship stood firm through the allegations and rumors…until now!

According to Bossip, someone close to Nelly stated the single “Woman to Woman” Ashanti recorded with Keyshia Cole arose his suspicions as to whether Ashanti cheated on him with producer, Chink Santana.

Apparently, Keyshia and Ashanti where considered enemies at one point because they BOTH were involved with Chink! He worked with Ashanti in her video “Don’t Let Them” and Keyshia Cole’s video “I Should’ve Cheated.” Although he was married at the time, there is speculation that he still was intimately involved with both Keyshia and Ashanti.

With those rumors flying and the ‘Woman to Woman’ collabo, some speculate that mess might actually be true! Either way, Nelly apparently believes Ashanti did cheat on him with Chink, which led him to break off the relationship.

We love Nelly and Ashanti: hopefully, he didn’t throw 9 years down the drain over “rumors”…On the other hand, it would be nice if these allegations were only rumors and there was NO truth behind them!
