We know that you have your man’s best interest at heart and you want to see him capitalize on his potential. We also know that when you are trying to encourage your man, it can sometimes start to sound like nagging. We’ve all experienced this at one time or another, and our best EGL advice is don’t be that girl. If you come off as being this way, chances are your man will not be receptive to your thoughts and ideas and this will only frustrate you further.
Instead of always working your advice about your man elevating himself; you can strive to show him better than you can tell him. In all that you do, do it with grace and confidence. If you want your man to be motivated to work out more, tell him how you’ve been going to the gym. Let him begin to see your hard work pay off! If you want your man to be more ambitious in the workplace, tell him that you are thinking about applying for the position above you or that you are making sure that you are gathering all the information and experience that you need so that you can apply. If you want your man to be more adventurous, suggest that you two do something unique together-Groupon and Living Social have great ideas
Moral of the story…Be the change that you want to see in your man and if he is interested enough to develop himself, then yeah, you’ll always be his motivation.
